Our Story
In his 19 years in the mortgage industry, founder and CEO of SHAiR Greg Martel encountered countless people who could barely afford to pay their mortgages. Back then, he helped by finding his clients the best deals. For instance, lower rates on purchases and refinance. But in 2020, he had an epiphany. What if there was a way to turn financial liabilities into assets? Starting with cars, which spend an astounding 95% of their time parked.
After many trials and tribulations leasing cars out himself, he realized there was so much more that needed to be done not only to educate the public on how to make money with their dream cars, but also to set a higher standard for renters and hosts alike.
Why We Do It
At SHAiR, we've cracked the code to car SHAiRing. Our vision is to empower people to take advantage of financial opportunities not normally available to them. All while making sure their assets and information are as secure as possible.
To that end, our platform is much more than just a place to list your car: it's a place to get financial tips, tools, and wisdom. Most importantly, it's a place where users can create new revenue streams that they never thought possible.

Letter From The Founder
When I started this company, I was determined to make SHAiR stand for more than just driving and owning cars. Ultimately, my goal was to empower the traditional car owner to create a flourishing share-economy. at the same time, I want to teach people how to do more with their money. Financial literacy impacts almost every aspect of our lives, yet many people do not have the basic knowledge they should.
Last but not least, it was important for me to start a company that would give back to the community. That's why SHAiR will share a portion of its profit with Operation Underground Railroad to help end child sex trafficking. It is a cause my team and I are extremely passionate about and will continue to support every opportunity we can.
